This traditional stone-built house is located in a rural village on the banks of the river Miño. The house on two floors is semi-habitable and in need of refurbishments. The property includes a courtyard and the nearest village with amenities and services is Ferreira de Panton, at 10 km from the property (17 minutes by car).

Distribution and state of repair:
The entrance leads to a courtyard measuring 32 m². The ground floor comprises an open space for storage and animal pens (74 m²) and a lovely wine cellar with wooden barrels (45 m²). Exterior stairs lead to the first floor with a terrace and the living area. Here you can find a living / dining room (13,81 m²), a kitchen with woodstove (9,19 m²) and larder and 3 bedrooms (10,50 m², 10,50 m² and 9,76 m²). The house is in an acceptable state of repair with exception of the flooring. The chestnut floors on the first floor are in need of renovation. Furthermore, there is nice chestnut wooden ceiling, the roof is in good state of repair, there are aluminium windows and there is no bathroom. Refurbishments are required but the house can be renovated without spending too much money.

Location:
The location is in a quiet rural village on the banks of the river Miño. The surroundings are with vineyards, woods and hills. Close to the river and within walking distance you can view a superb waterfall, falling into the river Miño. Services and amenities are at 10 km the village of Ferreira de Panton. At 13 km is a Spa Hotel with a quality 18-hole golf course. The historic city of Monforte de Lemos is located at approx. 25 minutes by car (20 km). This lively town offers all necessary amenities at less than 2 km, such as a hospital, hypermarkets, all kind of shops, banks, schools, bars and restaurants, etc.
During the Middle Ages, Monforte de Lemos became an important centre in Galicia. You can still find many interesting historical monuments in the old quarter. Worth to visit are for example the huge 17^th century building of Nuestra Señora de Antigua (well known as El Colegio del Cardenal, with some very interesting paintings of El Greco in the museum), the monastery of San Vicente do Pino and the medieval castle and palace of the counts of Lemos (today a “Parador” complex, a by the state owned Hotel), the old Jewish quarter with medieval walls and towers, the convent of “Las Clarisas” with a very important museum of sacred art and the medieval bridge over the river Cabe.
