The name Ribeira Sacra means “sacred riverbanks, derived from the many churches and monasteries on these river banks, founded by religious orders in the middle ages. A good example is a lovely Romanesque church located at just 2 km from the property. The nearest village with most of the necessary amenities and services is Ferreira de Panton, at 4 Km. from the property (within a 8-minute drive). At just 6 km you can find the Spa Hotel of Aguas Santas with a superb 18-hole golf course.
