This beautiful stone-built farmhouse to renovate is located in a peaceful , rural area in the council of O Saviñao, in the south of the Lugo province. The stone building from the 19th century inlcudes several outbuildings, a dovecote, a typical hórreo” (= a sort of granary on stone pillars) and a nice adjacent plot of land of one hectare. The nearest main village with necessary amenities and services is Escairon, at 9 km from the property (12 minutes by car).

The large Country House itself is built with beautiful rustic quarry stone and has an adjacent courtyard with covered sheds (90 m²). The house is on two floors and in need of renovations, such as new flooring, new doors and windows, re-tiling the roof, etc. Besides that, there are beautiful chestnut ceilings and beams and a sound structure.
The ground floor comprises (as in most of the Galician Country Houses) several stables and animal pens and an independent wine cellar. Within a 25-minute drive (23 km) you can visit the historical town of Monforte de Lemos. At 20 minutes by car you can visit the village of Chantada, one of the other main villages in the region of the Ribeira Sacra.
