The property is located in a peaceful, rural village in the council of Panton, in the south of the province of Lugo. This is the heart of the Ribeira Sacra region and one of the most beautiful and unspoiled areas in the inland of Galicia. On the banks of the rivers Miño, Cabe and Sil are typical terraced vineyards producing excellent wines. From the house are magnificent views overlooking the vineyards and mountains. Furthermore, you can find in the surroundings many monuments of Romanesque art (churches, monasteries, etc.). A good example is the convent with Romanesque church located at just 2 km from the property. Most of the main amenities and services are to find in the village of Ferreira de Panton, within a 5-minute drive (at 2 km). The historic town of Monforte de Lemos is located at 8 km from the property (another 10 minutes by car). This lively small city offers a hospital, all kind of local shops, several hypermarkets, good bars and restaurants, etc. The river Cabe with a pleasant swimming area is located at just 3 km from the property.
