This large historic Country House is located in a peaceful rural area at only 2 km from the river Miño. Manor House:
The large house itself (481 m²) was owned by rich farmers and is now in need of a full renovation. This means new floorings, doors and windows, a new roof, etc. An entrance gate leads to a partially covered courtyard (150 m²) with an impressive stone pillar and a stone bread oven. As in most of the old rural farmhouses in Galicia you can find on the ground floor several stables for the animals (in this case 9). Exterior stairs in the courtyard leads to the first floor and the living area. This floor has a newer and an older part. In the newer part (with less need for restoration) you can find a corridor (14,11 m²), a larder (3,41 m²), a bathroom with bathtub (7 m²), a kitchen with a wood burning cook stove, gas hobs and a beautiful chestnut table (24,15 m²) and a bedroom (16,06 m²). Outbuildings:
Close to the house is a beautiful stone-built barn with perfect stone walls and an impressive ceiling with chestnut beams (110 m²). Without any doubt this barn can be converted into a lovely stone house. At a bit more than 100 metres from both buildings you can find on another plot of land with pasture and chestnut trees a very old stone wine cellar.

Land:
The property includes 72.709 square metres of land (of which 34.203 square metres adjacent to the house and barn) with very good pasture (ideal for horses and other animals), fruit trees, chestnut trees and a lovely dovecote (very typical for the Galician Manor Houses).

The region is in the outskirts of the Ribeira Sacra, which literally means “sacred riverbanks”, derived from the many churches and monasteries you can find along these banks.
