Location
The location is excellent in the centre of the Ribeira Sacra region and very peaceful with no other neighbours close to the property. Nevertheless, the main town of Monforte de Lemos is not far away, at just 10 minutes by car. This historical town offers all necessary amenities, such as a hospital, hypermarkets, all kind of local shops, banks, schools, good restaurants, bars, pubs and a lively night life.

The town was an important centre during the Middle Ages and you can still find many monuments, such as the huge 17th century building of “El Cardenal” (with paintings of the famous painter El Greco in the local museum), the castle, palace and monastery of the count of Lemos (actually a “Parador” state owned hotel), the convent of “Las Clarisas” with an important museum of sacred art, the medieval bridge over the river Cabe and the Jewish neighbourhood near the castle walls.

Also within a 10-minute drive you can find a Spa Hotel with a quality 18-hole golf course (Iberik Aguas Santas).
