Land
The buildings are situated in approximately 12 hectares of land with another 8 hectares in the surrounding area. There is good pasture and woodland and some plots are located near a river with a water mill in ruinous state.

Location
The property is located in a beautiful natural area in a valley at 2 km from the river Miño in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra region. The surroundings are just with pure nature and very peaceful and relaxing. The Ribeira Sacra is particularly well-known as a wine-growing area, which now exports its produce around the world. You can find the typical terraced vineyards all along the banks of the river Miño producing high quality red and white wines. There is an extraordinary variety of animal and plant life in the area with oak, chestnut and pine trees. There is also a river at approximately 700 metres from the house with a few water mills (the river Batan).

The main village of Ferreira de Panton (with supermarkets, a health centre, a school, a pharmacy, shops, banks, bars and restaurants, etc.) is located at 8 km (10 minutes by car). Within a 20 minutes drive you can visit the town of Monforte de Lemos (20 km). This lively town offers many historical monuments and all kind of services and amenities (a hospital, hypermarkets, many local shops, bars and restaurants, etc.). For the golf lovers there is a magnificent 18-hole golf course near the Spa Hotel of Iberik Aguas Santas (12 km). The city of Ourense is located at 40 minutes by car.
