You can find this charming, traditional stone house in a small hamlet in the south of the Lugo province. The house is on two floors and includes an adjacent covered courtyard of 50 m². Distribution and state of repair:
The house is partially stone built and in need of renovation. The adjacent covered courtyard was years ago the chapel of the village. Furthermore, you will find on the ground floor a wine cellar with wooden barrels (30 m²) and a spacious storage room (60 m²). An indoor stairway leads to the first floor. This is the living area, with a corridor (15 m²), an old kitchen with a wood fired kitchen (12 m²), a dining room (15 m²), a simple fitted bathroom  (4 m²), 4 bedrooms (12 m², 6 m², 12 m² and 8 m²) and a room with open space (15 m²). The medieval town of Monforte de Lemos is located at 10 Km. from the property.
In the area you can enjoy nature in its purest state with leafy forests, typically terraced vineyards producing excellent wines, crystal clear rivers and many churches and monasteries in Romanesque style. Monforte de Lemos offers all necessary amenities, such as a hospital, hypermarkets, all kind of local shops, banks, schools, good restaurants, bars, pubs and a lively night life. This town was an important centre during the middle ages and you can still find many monuments, such as the huge 17^th century building of “El Cardenal” (with paintings of the famous painter El Greco in the local museum), the castle, palace and monastery of the count of Lemos (actually a “Parador”, by the state owned Hotel), the convent of “Las Clarisas” with an important museum of sacred art, the medieval bridge over the river Cabe and the Jewish neighbourhood near the castle walls.
